Yes. Please send full payment or at least a 50% payment for me to start work on your gift item. Sometimes I need to invest in a restock on supplies or due to the custom nature of the gift I may need to cut wood to a certain size which takes some time. 

Once you make a partial or full payment, your order will move from a "possible order" list to my actual "work orders" list and I will officially get started.

There are times where customers reach out to me to discuss their gift idea and they stop communicating with me.

For this reason, I cannot start work on any item without some sort of payment up front. Thank you for understanding!

I accept PayPal, Venmo, cash or check as well as credit & debit cards on the website.

During the winter, items will be brought inside after 8:00PM and brought outside again at 8:00 AM to avoid wood from freezing, glass from cracking and any items from cold damage. Please let me know if you have larger items to schedule a time to pickup.

Of course! please let me know if you need help with delivery. Glendale, Whitefish Bay, Shorewood, Fox Point no problem and no charge. I will try to get out there as soon as i have a break in my schedule. If you live further away we can figure something out. 

Most people don't know this, but if it is a novel idea and I've never made an item before I charge a much lower initial price because I do not yet have a final product image or proof of completion. It is great for customers to save money on an item and at the same time giving me a new item to learn how to do! Think of it as hiring an intern instead of a professional ;) However I will usually have a plan on execution and rest assured if I can do it with the highest quality possible, I will tell you and we can talk pricing.

If I absolutely can't or it is out of my skill range or equipment capabilities I will let you know. 

Yes! Sometimes creating items in bulk is much more time efficient and I can order stock in bulk to save you money as well. For screenprinting, glassware, ornaments, laser cut and laser engraved gift items I can offer a discounted price for 6 items or more. Unfortunately, anything involving sewing I cannot offer any discounts.

I'm sorry, no I cannot. Sewing smaller items actually takes a lot more effort and difficulty which will probably take me much more time. Although it takes less material to make, the difficulty level increases in this case. Most plush animals I make take about 5-6 hours with fabric cutting, interfacing if needed and the assembly of all the pieces before stuffing and sewing shut. Custom plush toys will take more time for me the first time I make them. 

I absolutely respect everyone's privacy and your email, address, phone number and any photos you send to me are completely confidential and safe with me! 

I may on occasion ask permission to share a photo of any gifts I make for you to be posted on my website, my facebook page or Instagram feed. I understand that most gifts are surprises so I will make sure to wait until the gift has been given to post. All gifting stories used on my social media pages will be anonymous. 

Due to the customization of most of my orders, I cannot offer refunds or returns on orders I have already started work on or have prepared any graphic design work for.

Because of this I make sure to send multiple proofs and photos of font options and colors to be used on the final product before I start. I want to make sure you know exactly what we are working on together. Both you and I are responsible for communicating in a timely manner until the product is complete. Your feedback and design choices are essential unless you state that you will give me full artistic license to create the gift for you.

Please double (or triple) check all spellings and any photos you send to me for use in your custom item.

If you ordered something off the website that is NOT customized, of course I can offer a return/refund if the item is clean, unused and re-giftable for someone else.

If you do change your mind about an order, and I have not yet purchased new custom supplies for your product (example a specific color fleece for the backside of your custom blanket) I will offer a full refund.

If you do change your mind about an order, and I HAVE purchased supplies for your gift, I will offer a partial refund minus the cost of the supplies purchased specifically for you.

Yes, completely normal and expected. Wood will have natural marks, knots, blemishes and may not be exactly the same between products. Some woods take stain differently and there may be more porous areas that take stain a lot more. I do my best to make sure the wood used for your gift is free of cracks and large knots and is the best possible quality I can provide for you. The diversity of wood products makes your gift even more unique and special!

There are shipping option when ordering through the website. However with new custom orders I use a discounted small business USPS or UPS account to ship your items and will discuss the prices available to you to be included in you final invoice. I do not offer international shipping at this time. 

I make sure to pack all items securely (bubble wrap, frame protectors etc) so they are protected during shipping. 

Once you have confirmation of shipping and a tracking number has been given to you, your package will be placed in the mail that day or the next day. 

After I have sent you a tracking number and dropped it off with a shipping carrier, I am not liable for any products damaged or lost due to USPS or UPS. Please contact the shipping carrier to file a claim. Then please let me know as soon as possible if you need a replacement gift to meet your deadline. I cannot offer a refund however I can expedite a new item to be remade for you!
